Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how HoverAI handles information when you use the HoverAI macOS app, website, account features, AI features, free trial, and subscription services.

Information We Collect

Account information: when you sign in with Apple, we receive the account identifier Apple provides to us and, if Apple provides it, your email address.

Usage and service information: we may process request metadata such as timestamps, selected action type, model route, token usage, device identifier, client version, IP address, error logs, and security events to operate, secure, and improve the service.

Content you submit: text you ask HoverAI to translate, rewrite, summarize, explain, or answer may be sent to our backend and AI providers to generate the requested result.

Payment information: subscriptions are processed by Creem. We receive subscription status, product identifiers, customer or subscription identifiers, invoices, and webhook events. We do not store full payment card numbers.

How We Use Information

We use information to provide AI features, authenticate accounts, manage free trials and subscriptions, prevent abuse, troubleshoot issues, maintain service reliability, and communicate service-related notices.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your submitted content to train HoverAI-owned models.

Local App Data

HoverAI may store preferences, local memory files, settings, cached state, and authentication tokens on your Mac. Authentication tokens are stored using the macOS Keychain where supported.

You can remove local app data by deleting the app data stored on your device. Some account, billing, security, and accounting records may remain on our servers as needed to operate the service, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations.

Service Providers

We use service providers for hosting, AI inference, authentication support, payment processing, logging, analytics, and infrastructure. These providers process information only as needed to provide their services to us.

Security and Retention

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No online service can guarantee perfect security.

We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required for legal, security, accounting, or dispute-resolution reasons.

Your Choices

You may stop using HoverAI at any time. You can sign out in the app and manage or cancel subscriptions through the payment flow or provider controls available to you.
